Colombia Tech Week 2025 brings 15,000+ attendees and 300 investors to boost startups and attract $50M+ in funding.

Colombia Tech Week 2025 has established itself as the most important event in the country’s technology ecosystem, with an agenda that will transform Bogotá and Medellín into key hubs of entrepreneurship, investment, and innovation from August 18 to 30, 2025.
This year, more than 15,000 attendees and 300 global investment funds are expected to participate, greatly surpassing the results of its inaugural edition in 2024.
Colombia Tech Fest: The First Open-Air Technology Festival
One of the major innovations this year is the Colombia Tech Fest, the first open-air technology festival in the country, which will take place on August 21 and 22 at the El Chicó Museum Park in Bogotá. This event will bring together over 50 global speakers, AI workshops, and networking zones designed to foster collaboration between entrepreneurs, investors, and key players in the ecosystem.
Over 200 Events to Energize the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
During the 13 days of programming, Colombia Tech Week 2025 will offer more than 200 activities in various formats: from business rounds and investment meetings to gastronomic experiences and sports activities. The initiative aims to go beyond a traditional conference and position itself as a comprehensive platform for regional connections.
One of its central goals is to mobilize over 50 million dollars in investment for Colombian startups. As Daniel Bilbao, co-founder of the event, stated, "We are attracting international investors who see Colombia as a strategic point to expand their portfolios."

Institutional Support and Leading Voices in the Ecosystem
The Bogotá Economic Development Secretariat has also joined the initiative, offering incentives for startups and entrepreneurs. "Last year, the city facilitated access to resources worth over 250 million pesos, generating business expectations of nearly 50 billion pesos," explained María del Pilar López, spokesperson for the entity.
Confirmed speakers include regional leaders such as osé Vélez (Bold), Simón Borrero (Rappi), Alfonso de los Ríos (Nowports) and Freddy Vega (Platzi). Additionally, investment funds from the United Arab Emirates will participate with the aim of exploring the potential of Colombian talent.
With registrations already open, Colombia Tech Week 2025 is projected as a unique opportunity to boost the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, connect with strategic partners, and position Colombia as an innovation leader in Latin America.
